"Adrienne, come to Canada with me on this eight-day bus tour.”

“I can’t.  I have to work.”

“What?  Since when did you let work get in the way of anything?  This from a person who used to skip class to watch Oprah.”

“Hey, I am a very driven person, I will have you know.”

“Sure.  Anyway, the trip is paid for.”

“It’s free?”

“Yes.  Entirely free.”

I then wonder if my friend will injure herself from the strain of eight days of eye-rolling.
