Speak Your Mind

Hi, Adrienne!  Got your email.  Thanks for writing back.  Michele and I have both finished with HP & the DH.  We loved it.

I couldn’t help but think of you the whole time I was reading it, especially as I got towards the end, and I kept remembering your thesis from Albright and how you compared CS Lewis and the Narnia Chronicles with JK Rowling and Harry Potter.  Wow!  You were so on the money then, and even more prescient now!  I’d love to be able to get my hands on a copy of your original thesis and read it again in light of what we now know to be the full Harry Potter story.  I have some more thoughts on HP & the DH in the comments section to my blog posting on the subject.  I hope, when you’re done reading it, that you’ll visit my blog and leave your own thoughts there.

Cheers and give my best to any of the folks I knew from Albright and with whom you still maintain contact—especially Shannon.  Do you have her email?  I’d like to write her and tell her hello.

Peace.—Jimmy

PS: Did you see the picture of Michele and my daughters that I put up on my blog?  They’re all grown up!

I, Theologygirl, deeply regret this inconvenience to you, dear reader, and hope it does not detract from your manifold experiences this day/night.
